Remembering our Babies

Parents, today I want you to look, to listen, to touch, to hug and most of all to cherish. Today, more than yesterday, but less than tomorrow, I want you to look deep into your children's innocent eyes and tell them you love them. I want you to listen to every single cry, whinge, laugh and word. I want you to touch their little ears, their soft skin, their gentle hands, their little toes and their beautiful lips. I want you to hug them. Hug them harder then you have ever hugged them before but most of all I want you to cherish them. Cherish every second you get with your little soul. This beautiful person standing in front of you that you created, that you have raised, that you have loved. Cherish every single moment. You, my friends, have a little miracle standing in front of you and you are one of the luckiest people alive to witness this special gift.

Today is hard. Every day is hard, but today is harder. Today it's spoken about, it is promoted on social media and today we are reminded that we can not hold them, touch them, listen to them or hug them. I'm not going to say that it's going to be easy, I'm not going to say for you to be strong, because today is hard and it's ok. Today, with you, we remember them.

Today we remember our angel babies. Our angel babies who are in heaven looking down on us, watching us, loving us and protecting us on our journey. Today I light a candle and pray with all my heart for their parents. I pray they know we are here for them, lifting them up with our support in their darkest days. Just like this flame, their memory will be a sparkle in your eyes, and in your hearts forever.

Today I light this candle for Sophia, Emelia, Allanah, Liz and Liam.

Josh and Jo, R & A, Andrew and Liz.
We love you and we pray for you.
