WORK... and my husband
This is such a beautiful and inspiring blog link that this week I just had to join in. Maxabella Loves and
~ So today I am grateful for work ~
Along with his full time job my husband is the maintenance guy/gardener for my bosses beach house down the coast. So every Saturday he goes down and works on their house and garden. Today I went with him as we haven't seen each other all week so every moment I can get with him I grab! This meant I got to spend a beautiful morning on the beach while Rob got to work. Each Saturday I would get a little frustrated when he didn't get home until 2.00 or 3.00 in the afternoon and I could never understand why it took so long to 'mow a lawn'. But he works his magic down there. He mows and hedges and prunes and weeds and perfects this garden like an art piece. I was in awe watching him as he turned this messy over grown garden and yard into a green beach side heaven. He has such an amazing talent for landscaping and gardening and it just blew me away. I even got inspired and motivated to help out however after blowing all the leaves from the back and front garden I was GONE! Ready for a swim and lunch and a sleep I sat down to read and Rob kept going for another 3 hours! He's a machine!
Have a beautiful weekend Everyone

what a lovely post. great to see you are appreciating your hard working man - love the pictures :)
That's so lovely! I have often found myself glancing longingly at landscape gardeners going about their day... I think I would like to be one when I grow up!!
Thanks for joining in this week. You're right - it's lovely to reflect on the week and it's lovely to visit other blogs that are grateful too. My favourite bloggy time of the week for sure!! x
What a gorgeous spot where your hubby does landscaping! :D
Lovely post.
That's a beautiful spot - I don't think you could keep me away! He's doing a fabulous job!
2 gorgeous things...your wedding dress!!! OMG, love it! The other is the view from the beach house?! I thought it was really lovely that you appreciated how hard he works, it's a public holiday here in Doha today and my husband is in at the office, you've provided a timely reminder to be grateful rather than resentful. Great blog, I'm your newest follower, come over and see me at 4 kids, 20 suitcases and a beagle any time! Kirsty (Shamozal)
